This cheesy party food is simple to make and absolutely delicious when the weather is cold! Recipe courtesy of Murrayā€™s Cheese.

TOTAL TIME:20 minutes

  • 1 lb. Murrayā€™s Cave Aged Gruyere, shredded
  • Ā½ lb. Emmentaler cheese, shredded
  • Ā½ lb. Murrayā€™s Estate Gouda, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • Salt, freshly ground pepper and hot sauce to taste

  1. Cut the garlic clove in half. Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic, then add the wine and bring to a simmer over low heat.

  2. Add the cheeses all at once. Using a wooden spoon, stir over moderately low heat just until the cheese is melted and smooth, about 5-10 minutes.

  3. Add the nutmeg. Season with salt, pepper and hot sauce.

  4. Set over a low flame to keep fondue melted during serving. Serve with slices of baguette, salami or pickles.
